Saturday, August 26, 2023 – Megan Khang heads into Sunday’s final round looking to secure her first career win on the LPGA Tour. She’ll be playing in the final pairing for the second straight day and will do so with a three-shot lead over Sei Young Kim.
Khang’s round began with six consecutive pars before recording back-to-back birdies on seven and eight. Khang strung together three more birdies in a row from 14 through 16 and added one more on 18 to shoot 68 on Saturday and get to 11-under for the tournament.
Kim flirted with potentially reaching the tournament course record throughout her round that featured a hole-in-one on the par three, 8th hole and an eagle on 14 to finish with a 67. Jodi Ewart Shadoff tied Kim for low round of the day, also shooting a 67 and is at 4-under for the tournament.
